| Job Profile | Have about 30 years of experience in forestry sector. Worked in Information Technology, Electronics & Communications Department, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. Worked as Addl. Chief Electoral Officer and Ex Officio Spl. Secretary, GAD, Elections in the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Andhra Pradesh. During my tenure in Forest Survey of India, I supervised the forest cover assessment for some states and assisted in ground truthing and accuracy assessment and designed training courses and training calendar for dissemination of this technology to different levels of forest officials in the country. Served in various capacities in Government of Andhra Pradesh in many fields like Protection and conservation of Forests and Wild Life. Increasing green cover outside forest areas by raising block and avenue plantations on community and government lands. Improving the livelihood of people depending on the local forest resource by increasing the productivity of trees inside and outside forest. Ensuring financial discipline in execution of conservancy works. General administration and taking care of welfare of the staff. Also served as OSD (ROFR) in Andhra Pradesh Government, where I was guiding the Tribal Welfare Department in analysing claims using satellite imagery. |
