- Held key leadership and technical positions across forest administration, environmental governance, wildlife conservation, and institutional capacity building, with significant contributions in the following areas: • Forest Administration and Regulatory Oversight: Served as Deputy Director General of Forests (Central) and Regional Head, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), Nagpur, overseeing regulatory matters across seven States and the Regional Offices at Ranchi and Bhubaneswar. • Forest Conservation and Institutional Leadership: Served as Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, with responsibilities as Nodal Officer under the Forest (Conservation) Act, Chief Executive Officer of CAMPA, and Member Secretary of the Andaman and Nicobar Coastal Zone Management Authority. • Wildlife Conservation and Forest Management: Served as Chief Conservator of Forests and Managing Director, Andaman and Nicobar Forest Plantation Corporation Ltd.; Conservator of Forests and Chief Wildlife Warden, Government of Puducherry; and Divisional Forest Officer, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, overseeing forest management, wildlife conservation, and forest regeneration. • Environmental Governance and Climate Change: As Director (Science and Technology) and MS (A&N Pollution Control Committee), Andaman and Nicobar Administration, and DCF (Wildlife), contributed to the State Climate Change Action Plan, marine protected area management, ecotourism development, and pollution control. • Capacity Building and Professional Training: As Additional Professor, Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy (IGNFA), Dehradun, led capacity-building initiatives for IFS officers and coordinated projects with national and international institutions.
