The release of India State of Forest Report 2023 was done by the Honorable Minister of Environment Forest and Climate Change Shri Bhupendra Yadav ji on 21.12.2024 in the auditorium of FRI.

Minister of State for Environment Forest and Climate Change Shri Kirti Vardhan Singh ji Secretary Mrs. Leena Nandan ji Special Secretary Shri Tanmay Kumar ji Director General of Forests and Special Secretary Shri Jitendra Kumar ji Additional Director General Shri Anjan Kumar Mohanty and Director General Forest Survey of India Shri Anoop Singh ji were present in the program. 110 trainees of IGNFA and 28 trainees of CASFOS were also present in the program. After the release the Minister also interacted with the media personnel. The Forest Survey of India assesses the countrys forest resources every two years and publishes the India State of Forest Report also known as ISFR in short and Bharat Van Sthiti Report in Hindi. This report is the 18th part of the series. This report plays a special role in the countrys forest management and forest policy making.
